Muhammad Sabir
Lt. General (Retd.) Pakistan Army

Lt. Gen Muhammad Sabir HI(M) (Retd), a student of Kukmang Middle School, served in Pakistan Army till his retirement as Leiutenant General. During his service he remained Corps Commander Gujranwala and Military Secretary, GHQ.
It was due to his efforts that today people of Kukmang are gifted with a 35km blacktop road, commencing from Thandiani / Mera Rehmat Khan that connects with Garhi Habibullah via UC Boi.
Abdul Hameed Qureshi (Late)
Advocate, Ex. Vice President Supreme Court Bar

Abdul Hameed Qureshi (Late) started his professional career as a lawyer in 1969 from Peshawar. He was elected as Joint Secretary of Peshawar High Court Bar Association in 1977 and Vice President of Peshawar High Court Bar Association in the session 1989-90.
In 1995 he was elected as Vice President of Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan. During his career he actively participated in social and political activities.
Sardar Walayat Khan (Late)
Politician - Social Worker

Sardar Walayat Khan, born on March 19, 1935, in Pather Gali, Kukmang, received his early education there. He began his political career in 1977 and became Vice Chairman of Union Council Boi. In 1982, he established the Union Council Kukmang and became its first Chairman.
He was also the first elected Nazim and District Council member of Abbottabad. Sardar Walayat Khan played a key role in various development projects in Kukmang, including schools, roads, water, electricity, and the relocation of the police station to Nawa Sher. He remains a proud figure for the people of Kukmang.
Ameer Hussain Abbasi (Late)
Senior Advocate, Ex. President District Bar Association

Ameer Hussain Abbasi, Advocate, started his professional career as a lawyer in 1965 from Abbottabad. He was appointed as Addl: District & Session Judge in 1977 but he again resumed his career as lawyer after two years. He was elected four times as President of District Bar Association including record of being elected consecutively for 3 years.
Mr Abbasi remained Convener of Nawanshahr Town Committee consisting of 18 union councils. He played a vital role in seperation of Kukmang from Boi Union Council and making it an independent UC.
Yasir Hameed
Test Cricketer - Pakistan

Yasir Hameed Qureshi is a Test Cricketer who represented Pakistan in 25 Tests and 56 ODIs.
He scored each inning hundred on his test debut in 2003, becoming only the second player in this history of test cricket. He also holds world record of four successive opening partnerships of 100 runs or more.
Yasir is fastest to reach ODI 1000 runs in Asia and 4th in world. During his first 30 ODIs, he scored more runs than any othe batsman in the world and he has record of scoring most runs in International Debut Year.
Muhammad Ibrahim Khan
Brigadier (Retd.) Pakistan Army

Muhammad Ibrahim Khan got his early education from Cadet College Kohat and later commissioned in Pakistan Army. He retired as Brigadier after many years of quality service.
Mr. Ibrahim Khan takes keen interest in social and political affairs of Kukmang.
Abdul Ghafoor Qureshi
District & Session Judge (Retd.) - Judiciary

Retired as District & Sessions Judge after contributing 31 years Judicial Service. In this capacity he served as Judge Accountability Court, Judge Labour Court, Judge Anti-Terrorism Court and as head of District Judiciary in 3 districts of KP Province.
Currently he is serving as Judicial Member Medical Teaching Institutions Appellate Tribunal Government of KP Province, on contract appointment.
Sardar Javed Arshad
Civil Servant (Retd.) - Social Worker

Sardar Javed Arshad was born in 1959 in the village of Pather Gali, Kukmong. During his career, he played a key role in monitoring the Billion Tree Tsunami project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a contribution that was highly praised by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
He retired as the Chief Conservator of Forests in KPK. Additionally, he is the founder of the Sardar Walayat Khan Trust, which supports students from Kukmong by providing them with uniforms and notebooks.
Sajawal Riaz
